Most women I talk to about capital and investing think they need to have more money first before they can invest. They believe that the move toward serious financing comes only after<\/em> they have proven that they deserve it. That the table where the real decisions are made will only be open to them once everything is bigger and stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is a misconception that costs them not only capital but also wealth accumulation. Because the women who attract capital and thereby build wealth are not the women with the most money. They are the women who stand their ground, who understand how the game is played. Who have positioned their value so clearly that investors, partners, and clients can draw no other conclusion than that they are the right choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here\u2019s another misconception I\u2019d like to clear up right away. You really don\u2019t need 100K to sit at the negotiating table as a serious investor and partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A persistent pattern I often see in women, because they position themselves in a way that undermines rather than reinforces their worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She describes what she does rather than what she changes. She presents her results rather than her vision. She asks for permission in conversations where she should actually be setting the direction. And she sits down at the table with the energy of someone who still has to prove herself, even though she has long since proven herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potential that has not been translated into a clear position remains invisible to the people who matter. Experience that hasn\u2019t been translated into intellectual property has no value in the conversations that generate capital.   3. Are you currently investing your time, energy, and money strategically in a way that strengthens your position and activates your compounding effect? Or are you mainly investing in maintaining the status quo?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
