Last week I spoke to a female CEO who told me she was working harder than ever, her knowledge is deeper than ever, but her impact is shrinking. "I feel lost in the noise," she said.
She had done everything she was "supposed to. Consistently posting on LinkedIn, starting a newsletter, sharing her knowledge and value. But in a world where Artificial Intelligence (AI) writes articles in seconds and everyone suddenly seems to be the AI expert, her voice in her own story felt less and less distinctive.
Her problem was not lack of knowledge. The problem was that she was stuck in three patterns that systematically keep many women leaders small. Especially as AI changes the rules of the game, as well as the atmosphere in the marketplace and the algorithm.
Perfectionism is quality in disguise
Perfectionism looks like just delivering quality and guaranteeing reliability. In reality, it slows down decision-making, blocks launches and creates endless iterations that bring neither customers nor additional sales.
In a world where AI can create content and prototypes at lightning speed, the one who dares to publish, test and learn wins. Perfectionism is a loss of value. Imperfect pilots provide feedback much faster than a slick product that no one asks for.
And honestly, when is it perfect?
Control is the illusion of certainty
Control feels safe and you keep telling yourself that you are in control and leave nothing to others. But control often means that you are the bottleneck, because everything revolves around your time, your input and presence. That makes you vulnerable and takes away your freedom.
If you want to control everything, you don't give others a reason to trust and build with you.
Loyalty comes at a cost to yourself
Loyalty to people, roles or systems can make your reputation strong. But when it means structurally cutting yourself out, you lose ability to lead strategically and invest in your own growth.
I see it constantly with women entrepreneurs who make overly cheap offers out of loyalty to old clients. Who continue trajectories that are no longer profitable. Who have their boundaries blurred because they want to stay "nice.
Loyalty leads to depletion and impoverishment of value. Of your own value, your terms and your added value. Growth and freedom require you to be loyal to your vision and impact first, not to the status quo.
The technology shift: where value is moving
AI does not replace value, AI moves value. AI makes creation cheap, but shifts value to scarce, non-reproducible assets. These are the places where you as an entrepreneur can claim and scale your strategic position.
The question to ask yourself now: Where does my humanity, my genius and quality become more valuable now than ever?
What makes AI valuable (and what makes it worthless)
AI makes creation infinitely easy and inexpensive. What used to require time, skill and investment is now available with a single prompt. But this is precisely why the value of what remains scarce increases:
What becomes more valuable:
- Credible, visible leaders with a track record
- Your unique insights and proprietary intellectual Property (IP)
- Trusted brands and personal reputation
- Community-driven movements and exclusive networks
- Forward-looking business models made stronger by chaos
Which becomes worthless:
- Everything average
- Generic content and me-too newsletters

- Fake, fake authority and hype launches
In a world where average content is free and plentiful, only the exceptional pays.
And this is where your strategic advantage lies. Not in working harder or producing more of the same, but in repositioning where your value truly lives, creates and is appreciated. Think in assets, not output. Stop using only hours against money. As you know, I believe in value-driven supply and pricing strategy and not the hourly-bill earning model.
Start translating profits into assets separate from your daily presence. Create multiple revenue streams and capture your assets as your Intellectual Property (IP). This is legacy. And for a future exit strategy, this will give you more value in the long run.
