I recognize this like no other. I, too, was once at that point. For years I was imperceptibly sacrificing my life's happiness and enjoyment of my work. I felt restless, stimulated and understimulated in my work due to lack of challenge and appreciation. I felt constrained and limited from doing what I am really good at, what energizes me and makes an impact. I had strayed too far from my course and needed to get back to the essence of my life.

The essence of your life
In a world full of "shoulds" and external pressures, it is essential that you learn to navigate based on your inner motivation. From the essence. That which really matters. Because only then can you build sustainable impact and quality of life.
Often we impose a lot of "shoulds" on ourselves. Because it is expected of you, or out of obligation.
I too had imposed many obligations on myself over the years that had slowly crept into my life and career. It brought me much, but also cost me much. Eventually I realized that I was drifting further and further away from my own inner compass. I was conforming to the expectations of others, conforming to the standard and losing sight of my own challenge, fulfillment and growth.
Until I hit the wall and radically changed course. I invested deeply in myself, my personal, business and financial growth. And decided to live my life on my own terms. To live life fully in my own way, taking responsibility for my own growth - personal, business and financial. The result: an increased quality of life, more freedom and growth in all areas.
My system for forward-looking growth
To keep tracking and encouraging my growth, I created my own system. A standardized way of working because I know that routines and systems actually enhance growth. My Life& Business Integral Growth Assessment. Not just any questionnaire, but a proven, integrative system that I use four times a year to regain a sense of direction, clarity and intrinsic power. So that I:

This assessment is integrative because I believe growth is holistic: everything is interrelated and requires a systemic approach for maximum impact.

The Life & Business Integral Growth Assessment focuses on 5 pillars of intrinsic motivation:

This is how it works: reflecting and acting
For each pillar, answer the following three questions:
- Where do you stand now?
How do you feel in this area? What works, what doesn't?
- What do you desire?
What do you want to feel, experience or achieve more?
- What is your next action?
What focused step will bring you closer to that desire and your desired new standard?

Are you struggling to get clear on what you feel or need? Then use these in-depth questions for each motivator:
- Autonomy
- Where do you feel the most control and freedom in your life and where the least? What can you do to experience more control?
- What choices have you made recently that strengthened your autonomy?
- What boundaries can you set (more) to guard your time and energy?
- How can you arrange your day so that your priorities always take precedence?
- What external factors may you let go of in order to stay closer to yourself?
- What do you need to stay true to your rhythm and energy?
- Mastery
- What skills or challenges still really inspire you? What are you curious about even though you are not yet good at it?
- What would you like to learn or improve, purely for your own growth?
- What tasks give you a sense of mastery and how can you do more of them?
- How can you combine your genius value and unique skills to create something new in your field?
- Purpose
- What do you want to contribute to the world? What impact do you want to have - for your children, clients, community?
- What talents and experiences make you unique in creating positive change?
- What do you want to leave behind? What do you want to be remembered for?
- Who inspire you and why? What can you learn from their impact?
- What stories touch you - and how can you create such stories yourself?
- Curiosity
- What makes you really curious? What topics or activities energize you?
- When was the last time you learned something new, just for fun?
- What assumptions can you challenge to discover new perspectives?
- How can you experiment more often without fear of failure? What would you dare to do if "failure" was not an option?
- What childlike curiosity can you allow back into your work?
- Autotelicity
- In which activities do you forget about time and feel fully in your zone of genius value creation (zone of genius)?
- What gives you deep satisfaction, regardless of results or status?
- Which tasks cost you energy structurally, and why?
- Which tasks are draining you, can you delete, delegate or optimize to make more room for your flow?
- What activities are not aligned with your values and what does that do to your energy?
From insight to transformation and impact
This assessment is not a one-time exercise, but a strategic routine for continued growth. By doing this every quarter, you can make quicker adjustments, make more conscious choices ánd experience more satisfaction and successful growth in everything you do. Growth in turnover, but especially in freedom, meaning and fun.
What does it get you?
- More focus: You know what you want to focus on and what you don't want to focus on anymore. Also use the framework: MORE, BETTER, NEW.
- More energy: Your day feels more energetic because you are doing what is really right for you, from your own rhythm. You work on the things and with the people who nourish and enrich you.
