Your business will not grow beyond you as an entrepreneur, but then how do you determine where you are now and keep an understanding and overview of where you want to grow to? 

I use my Framework Maturity Model for Growth

In other words, how mature am I really as an entrepreneur and what is the maturity of my business? 

It is essential to have and keep insight into this when you feel you want to grow to the next level in your business.

But also to remain future-proof, relevant and successful in the changing market. And that you keep moving with the times and ensure that your offering can continue to provide the desired results to your top clients.

Because what maturity level regarding your solution (= offering) is ideal to start with and where does your solution take your customer (= outcome)? 🤔

I experience that every time I have new steps to take to grow further.

How can you tackle that devil now to achieve new business growth as well? Grow further to the next maturity level?

In fact, it's a cycle that you go through every time. And I have described that cycle here in my Framework Maturity Model for Growth: The 7 steps to the next level for maturity and growth. 

These 7 steps make it easier to assess your position, authority status and results. This gives you insight as a leader as to what actions, choices and measures you need to take to continue to grow to the next maturity level.

  3. Business process and business model modifications, 
  4. Managing change 
  5. Monitoring performance and results 
  6. Improve processes 
  7. Analyze and implement tools & technology

Now how do you use this Framework?

This framework is meant to be an improvement and new growth opportunity. As I always put it: Innovate to grow. Because not only do the market and the needs of your customers change, you as an entrepreneur change, develop and grow. This requires new leadership, adjusting your position (repositioning) and a renewed strategi.

You can, of course, assess this yourself. Another way is to seek advice from an outside party/advisor. Because often you don't see your new perspectives yourself. This is because we all have our own "dyke of rightness. And to look over my own dyke of rightness and see new vistas and possibilities again, I always seek advice from my own mentor/advisor and also in my Mastermind.

Determining your current position and gaining new self-insight can be done by:

  • Conducting interviews / doing market research
  • Identify developments, opportunities and growth possibilities in the market, your target market, your business.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess processes and outcomes, e.g., effectiveness and efficiency.

Then create a new strategic plan to your new destination. This is your new level of maturity in growth. A clear plan, so you know the right steps to take at the right time to achieve your goals. And you as a leader can fully focus on the things that matter.
